Introduction to CHIME recap

CHIME

So, we are coming to the end of the six sections in this course. It is time to make a plan to make sure that the recovery journey continues. This section can help to remind us about what is important, and what we considered and discovered in this course. If there is one message that all students should take from this course, it is that everyone has lots to offer, we are all unique, interesting people, and we can all develop and grow, no matter what our limitations or difficulties. The world might challenge us, and we challenge ourselves, but anything is possible.

'We are all better than we know. If only we can be brought to realise this, we may never be prepared to settle for anything less."

Kurt Kahan

Recap

In this course we have:

  • Considered all the CHIME factors and their importance for recovery.
  • Identified personal barriers to each factor and how to overcome these.
  • Gained tools and strategies to use to improve your wellbeing.
  • Set some personal goals towards your recovery.

Consider more:

  1. Which sections have stood out the most whilst doing the course?
  2. Do you feel more confident in tackling any barriers you may face due to the CHIME factors?
