There is a large amount of evidence that physical activity is absolutely vital for human beings, to be physically active in whatever way they can, for both physical and mental wellbeing. This course looks at how running, in particular, can have a hugely positive impact on our mental health and how to go about taking up running.

‘I always feel at least slightly better about life when I finish. Running is the best.’

This course will take about 1 to 2 hours to do, but this timing will depend on how fast you read and how long you spend on the activities and questions. You do not need to complete the whole course in one go. If you leave and come back to the course, it will remember where you got up to.
