Finish the Dealing with a Major Incident Course for Children

fours animals. Each in their own individual drawn box.

You have worked hard to finish this course.

Congratulations and well done!

We have thought about what to do if you need a bit of extra help and why this might be. We have looked at what to think about and the different choices you have when the anniversary of the scary thing happens.

You can of course come back and read any of this information again. Sometimes it can be hard to understand everything after reading it only once so it’s no problem if that’s what you would like to do.

We have thought about how you might think, feel and react when someone you love dies or is badly hurt or changed because of scary thing.

We have also looked at all sorts of different ways you can help yourself and how to take good care of yourself so you learn how to cope better.

Perhaps by making a plan.
